He is survived by: his parents, Frederick Getty and Florence Folgate Getty; his spouse Carol A. Livesey; his son Mark Getty of Cedar Falls; his son-in-law Neil Hammargren; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Lindsy, Joel, Taylor, Thomas and Muriel; and his sisters-in-law, Marg Getty and Betty Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
