With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria M. Conner (Waterloo, Iowa), who passed away on May 28, 2020 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria M. Conner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Huffman and Virginia Miller Huffman Wilson; her husband James Robert Conner; and her brother-in-law Reuben Miller. She is survived by: her stepfather Raymond "Dutch" Wilson; her children, Cheri Harmsen (Jerry) of Waterloo, IA and Kevin Conner (Laurie) of Urbandale, IA; and her sister-in-law Jean Miller of Aplington. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren;16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, private family services will be held with the burial at Garden of Memories.

Memorials may be made in honor of Gloria to Hammond Avenue Church of the Brethren.

“My sympathy to Gloria's family. She was a friend from 1st grade. We lost touch and then we developed a new relationship with letters after we both married. The last letter I received she wrote that she was needing help getting into bed, so I knew her illness was serious. There were four of us school mates, including junior high and high school who continued exchanging letters. Now there are only two of us left. I will miss her letters.
