She was predeceased by: her parents, John Albert and Edna Mae Grimm (Bonnette); her husband Gale Garrison; her daughter Cynthia Mayer; and her brothers, John, Willard, Forest "Curly", Robert and Gerald Grimm.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Lee (Randy) of Cedar Falls; her grandsons, Matthew Lee (Angela) of Waterloo, Andrew Lee (Elizabeth) of Lawrence, KS and Tyler Mayer (Monica) of St. Louis, MO; her great grandchildren, Kristen Graham (Scott) of Cedar Rapids, Grant Bossom (Madison) of Des Moines and Alexandria Shea (John) of Rochester, MN; her great great grandchildren, Layla and Sophia; and her siblings, Ileen Mostek of Osage, IA, Betty Lou Ward of Osage, IA, Carl Grimm (Bonnie) of Osage, IA, Helen Counsell (Virgil) of Independence, MO, Roger Grimm of Kerns, UT, Marge Olson, Shirley Frank (Richard) and Charles Grimm (Jackie).
