She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Murphy and Loretta F. Murphy (Kruse); her former husband Ray Wester; and her siblings, Rosetta Haugen, Anita Aries and LaVerne Murphy.

She is survived by: her spouse Raphael C. Wester (Ray); her children, Delores Wester of Waterloo, IA, Mary Wester, Tom Wester (Linda), Joel Wester, Andrea Huston (Tom), June Bartlett (Mike), Richard Wester (Rene), Ruth Wester and Geri Wester (Don Murtha); and her brother Francis Murphy Jr.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She often made donations to the food pantry, church, and clothing drives.
