He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Tarkett and Anne Morley Tarkett; his brother Dick Tarkett; his niece Terry Tarkett Andrews; his nephew David Tarkett; and his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Brustkern, David and Jim Brustkern.
He is survived by: his wife Marilee Brustkern Tarkett; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Brustkern (Eunice) and Nick Brustkern of Waterloo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Boys/Girls Club, Nazareth Lutheran Church or the Sullivan Hartogh Davis Honor Flight.
