It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Albert Schumacher (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Lamont, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Schumacher and Bernice Schumacher (Brunkhurst); his spouse Rosalene Bartels of Savior's Lutheran Church; and his brother Lawrence Schumacher. He is survived by: his brother Laverne Schumacher (Pat) of Alden, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Bartels (Carol), Allen Bartels (Connie), Wayne Bartels, Gary Bartels (Marcia) and Carolyn McAnally (David). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
