He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence George and Lorena Opal Petersen Larson; his spouse Alice Marie Mullarkey May; his sons, Chris (Sheila) of Waterloo, Matt of Waterloo and Andy (Heidi) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Hubka, Matthew Delagardelle (Jacy Walbaum), Olivia Delagardelle, William Larson and Henry Larson; his great grandchildren, Ronan, Lorenzo and Rosie; and his sister Becky Hohanshelt (Bernie) of Waterloo.
