He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen E. Kaune and Betty Dawn Kaune (Walters-Geiger); his former wife Linda Kaune; and his son Glenn Kaune. He is survived by: his wife Jo Kaune of Waterloo; his son Douglas Kaune (Amy) of Waterloo; his stepchildren, Tambra Simpson (Stacy) of Conrad, IA and Brian Garbes (Annette) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Addyson Kaune, Mackenzie Ryan (Michelle), Mikaela Rae, Abagale DiaGiacoma (Michael), Alex and Aaron Garbes; his great grandchildren, Paislee, Gabriel, Franklin, Arthur and Madelyn; and his sisters, Karen Eliason (Gary) of Waterloo, Lylia Hare of Waterloo, Brenda Rand of Waterloo and Judy Peterson of Waterloo.
