It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Dean Mangel of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on July 31, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Dean Mangel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bernard Mangel Sr. and Helen Ardola Potter. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Matthew (Jenny) and Aaron (Holly); his grandchildren, Trevor (Morgan), Hannah, Audrey and Madeline; his great grandchild Tanner; and his siblings, Colleta Janice Mangel, Claudia Marie Slowick, Claude Bernard Mangel Jr., Robert Craig Mangel, Saundra Reynolds and Ronnie LaRae Mangel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family and a memorial fund will be established.
