He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edward Sr. and Edith Gerta Hiffernan (Nielsen) of Duluth, Minnesota.; and his sister Mary Walker. He is survived by: his wife Florene Hiffernan of Waterloo; his daughters, Linda Rekward (Warren) of Grundy Center and Kathy Mentel (Bryan) of Waterloo; his sisters, Francis Larson of St. Paul, MN, Bette Sampson of Minneapolis, MN, Jean Kennedy of Forest Grove, OR and Ruth Walker (Bill) of Cerritos, CA; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Yarrington and Jim Walker of Cerritos, CA. He is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
