Francis Rodgers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis Rodgers of Waterloo, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Francis departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Francis. Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Rodgers and Mary Rodgers (King); his wife Doris Pint; and his children, Nick, Kevin and Brenda.
He is survived by: his children, Joe of Lanesboro, Pat of Waterloo, Tom of Waterloo and Daylene Schloemer of Waterloo; and his grandchildren, Jaimie Gleason (Marty) of Waterloo and Clint Rodgers (Amanda) of West Union. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
