She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nielsen and Dorothy Nielsen (Warneka); her husband Donald J. Pettit; her daughter Kim Pressley; her daughter-in-law Lela Pettit; her granddaughter Tiffany Pettit; and her brothers, Caryl Nielsen and Leroy Nielsen.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Pettit (Kara) of Waterloo, Bill Pettit of Waterloo, Scott Pettit (Lela) of Waterloo, Brad Pettit (Mary) of Waterloo and Lisa Graveman (Loren Jacobsen). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
