She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhardt Staack and Mable Winning Staack; her daughter Beverly Beck; her grandson Jason Cooper; her great grandchild Blake Finke; and her sisters, Ladonna Bunger, Daphine Kammeyer, Aleta Boehme and Lavera Blasberg.
She is survived by: her former husband John Beck August; her spouse Adrian Schmitz August; and her children, Sandra Naylor of Waterloo, Annette Bagg (Terry) of Waterloo, Connie Cooper (Jan) of Traer, Karen Wagner (Rick) of Harpers Ferry and Raymond Beck of Waterloo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and seven stepchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
