He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Jung and Mary Brink Jung; his daughter Patrica Coder; and his great grandchild Bevin. He is survived by: his former wife Lillian Keen; his wife Olga Chyle; and his children, Mary Michelle Knutson of Denver, Michael Jung of Hedrick and Janel Chyle Jung (Bob Willert) of Iowa City. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
