It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma L. Rhoden (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Durant, Mississippi, who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Parker and Lillie Parker (Roberts); and her brothers, Richard Parker, Theodore Parker, Jessie Parker and Walter Parker.
She is survived by: her friend Biography Emma L. Rhoden; her former spouse Willie C. Rhoden; her children, Keith Rhoden of Los Angeles, Steven Rhoden of Atlanta and Cynthia Rhoden of Waterloo; her brothers, James Parker of St. Louis and Robert Parker of Decatur, IL; her grandchildren, Unique Gardner, Jasmine Murphy and Amari Burt; and her great grandchildren, Da'Veon Murphy and Dacari Murphy. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
