He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Boehmer; his wife Margaret Lundgren (Marsh); his children, Andy Shane (Omaha), Zac Boehmer (Waterloo), Troy Smith (Evansdale), JoAnn Lopez (Arturo), Samantha Derifeld (Joe) and Alison Weaver (Shane); his grandchildren, Zach Shane, Shawn, Josh, Justin, Brady, Brenton, Brianna Boehmer, Kimber (Josh Hoffman), Kaelea, Kyle Smith (Kelsie Mitchell), Isabel (Tyrone Fudge), Daniela, Elena, Araceli, Viviana Lopez, Andrew Rosol (Angie Grossman), Jacob, Sam Derifeld, Cordelia (Nolan Debuhr), Credance Lundgren and Seth Weaver; his great grandchildren, Trey, Emmalynn, Karson, Kehlani, Lennon, Rollins and Leilani; and his brother-in-law Vernon Locke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close family friends.
