Duane Louis Wilshusen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Louis Wilshusen of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on October 2, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry John and Dorothy Clara Wilshusen (Consier); his wife Dorothy Sergeant; and his siblings, Delbert, Virgil, Richard Wilshusen and Ardis Lunn.
He is survived by: his former wife Estelle Hauschen Edwards; his children, Sheryl of Waterloo, Robert of Waterloo and Ronald Wilshusen of Waterloo; his stepchildren, Nancy Lunde (Larry) of Evansdale, IA, Andrew Sergeant of Waterloo and Les Sergeant (Linda) of Hudson, IA; and his siblings, Henry Wilshusen (Sue) of California and Shirley Painter of California. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Nazareth Lutheran Church, Northeast Iowa Food Bank or Hartman Reserve, Cedar Falls.
