He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Purdy and Velma Purdy (Hare); his brother Dennis; and his stepmother Nina Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Jean C Purdy; his son Micah Purdy (Olga Garcia) of Woodstock, IL; his siblings, Dawn Gladback (Larry) of Plainfield, IN and Dwight Purdy (Pat) of Marion, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Nicholas DeBonis (Susan) of Beaufort, SC, Lucille Garst of Littleton, CO, Anthony DeBonis (Ruselle), Lauretta DeBonis of Fort Wayne, IN and Theodore (Martha).
