With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Irene Burger of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shipp and Malinda Meyer Shipp; her husband Ray Burger; and her sister-in-law Loretta Shipp. She is survived by: her children, Ron Burger (Patti) of Walnut Grove, Calif, Charlie Burger (Kent Shankle) of Waterloo, Tom Burger of Cedar Falls, Linda Atherton (Dave) of Mason City and Pat Cole (Dave) of Waterloo; and her brother Wayne Shipp of Holland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
