She was predeceased by: her parents, George Westergaard and Lulu Westergaard (Brink); her husband Richard "Dick" Garrison; her grandson James J. Christensen; and her sister Marleen Janssen.
She is survived by: her children, Luann Long (Alan) of Cedar Falls, Nancy Christensen (Danny Sinnes) of Port Angeles, WA, Larry Garrison (Andrea) of Stewartsville, MN and Neal Garrison (Stephanie) of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (1301 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50702). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
