She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Young and Mable Young (Smith); her husband Charles Neil; her daughter Nisa Neil; and her brothers, Marvin (Janice) and Ronald Young.
She is survived by: her children, Tres Neil of Cedar Rapids, Cherie Neil (Matthew O'Connor) of Hudson and Manina Jackson (David) of Atlanta, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Ella, Taylor Neil, LaTorya Dial, Laken Mallory-Neil, Bryson Mallory and Brian Mallory Jr.. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
