He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L., Sr. and Leona M. Holm James. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie James (Kenny Johnson) of Waukon and Mindy James (Luke Lefler) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Sterling James and Jo Johnson; and his great grandchild Phoenix James.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Bend Humane Society; Cards sent to the funeral home will be directed to the family.
