It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Pettit (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 13, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pettit and Josephine E. Behles Pettit; and his brothers, Emmett, Dwayne, Edward, Cliff and Tom.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn E. Nielsen; his children, Kimberly Pressley, Craig Pettit (Kara), Bill Pettit, Scott Pettit (Lela), Kyle "Brad" Pettit (Mary) and Lisa Graveman (Loren Jacobsen); and his siblings, Ken Pettit and Jennie Pettit of Coralville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
