It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Michael Dietz of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Dietz and Esther Dietz (Greene); and his brother Duane Grandon. He is survived by: his sister Diane Wilson (Paul) of Garnavillo; and his close friends, Todd and Julie Ilax. He is also survived by three nieces and their families, numerous cousins.

He bought my bucket T from me years ago and I had plans to bring my grandson this fall for a tour of his shop and to see the car. Mike and I were looking forward to meeting again. He will be missed!
