He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Dinty" Moore and Dorothy Moore (Keefe); his grandson Cayd Sapp; his sister Sondra Boehmer; his stepdaughter Christy Tovar; his brother-in-law Jerry Ersland; and his close friend Sam.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Moore of Waterloo, Lisa Moore of Waterloo, Lori Moore of Waterloo and Laura; his grandchildren, Cody Moore (Texi), Kyle Moore (Alexa), Lindsey Borrett (Nathan), Apryl Gerstenkorn (Chris Thompson), Nicolas Gerstenkorn, Julian Moore, Chloe Tibbals, Emma Moore, Anabella Moore and Sebastian Moore; his siblings, Tom Moore (Sharron Freeman) of North Carolina, Cindy Ersland of Waterloo, Chuck Moore (Barbara) of Denver, Dorene Moore (Dave Balk) of Elk Run and Paul Moore (Sabrina) of Solon; and his brother-in-law Rod Boehmer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories (965 Home Plaza, Waterloo, IA 50701). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mt Olivet Cemetery (3912 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50701).
