She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Noble and Marie Newsome Woods; and her siblings, Margaret Jackson, Mary Woods, Dorothy Null, Gwendolyn Lewis, Noble Woods, Jr., Richard James Woods and Gene Oliver Woods.

She is survived by: her close friend Lori Marten. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
