She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Nelson Barnes and Joe C. Barnes, Sr.; her husband Jessie Marston; her daughter Ora Jean; and her siblings, Jim, Joe, Robert Lee, Leroy, Jerry and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbi J. Marston-McKinney of Waterloo, Roosevelt Oliver (Roxanne) of Harlan, Patricia Oliver of Chicago, Andrew Oliver of Waterloo and Alfred Oliver (Gloria) of Waterloo; her sisters, Alberta Cole of Chicago, Dorothy Ambrose of Waterloo and Bessie Smith of Calumet City, IL; her grandchildren, Sidney Oliver, Nicole Oliver of Chicago, Crystal Oliver and Sheneka Oliver of Harlan; and her great grandchild Tatyana of Chicago. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
