He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Powers and Rosemary Powers; his wife Patricia Sawvell; and his sisters, Mary Culver, Beverly and Barb Powers.
He is survived by: his sons, Bradley Powers (Pam) of Mesa and Philip Powers (Dawn) of Denver, Iowa; his grandchildren, Derek, Braden, Amelia Powers and Stephanie Rasco; and his sisters, Susan Beadel (Nathan) and Linda Wade.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to David's grandchildren's education fund.
