He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Kay Brody; his grandson Trevor Lee Brody; his stepfather Harry Kruse; his father Frank Krug; his sister Judy Hanson; and also Mamie Kruse.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kay Schultz (Dean) and Larry Krug (Louise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
