It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David G. Cockrell (Waterloo, Iowa), who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cockrell and Eunice Slagle Cockrell; and his son John David Cockrell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Coonrodt; his daughter Gina Cockrell of Oklahoma; his sister Pat Wood of Florida; and his sister-in-law Nancy Coonradt. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cedar Bend Humane Society or the family.
