It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Chavez-Morales of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 9, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, David Chavez and Fabiola Morales; his siblings, Joevani Chavez, Romeo Chavez, Juan Molina and Reyna Morales; his godparents, Juan Morales and Aimee Morales; and his grandparents, Juan Chavez, Maribel Mora, Reynaldo Morales and Dolores Alvarez. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A prayer will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (320 Mulberry St, Waterloo, IA 50703). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
