We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2021, at the age of 77, Daniel Gerst of Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Gerst and Marcella Gerst (Schiel); his former wife Virginia Gerst; his son Barry Eastman; his brother Nicholas Gerst; and his granddaughter Chera Regan.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Brodie (William) of Florida, Angela Green (Rick) of Colorado, Pamela Simons (Shelley) of Waterloo and Jeff Eastman of Waterloo; and his brothers, Randall Gerst (Karen), Anthony Gerst (Brenda) of Waterloo, James Gerst (Judy) of Mantino, IL and Gregory "Pat" Gerst (Donna) of Indiana.
Memorials may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home.
