He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bright and Phyllis Bright (Hull); and his siblings, Robert, Richard Bright and Shirley Benham.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Bright of Waterloo; his sons, Dale Bright, Jr. (Nicole) of Janesville, Stephen Bright of Andover, MN, Mark Bright (Lisa) of Dysart and John Bright, Sr. (Sarah); his grandchildren, Joshua Bright (Kayla), Melissa Pietan (Jeff), Nick Bright, Chris Bright, John Bright, Jr. and Samantha Wyckoff; his great grandchildren, Baylee, Emma and Oliver; and his siblings, Donald Bright of West Union and LaVonne Rolfs of Oelwein.
