He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Peterson and Mathilda Peterson (Madsen); and his grandson Jake Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Kay N. Schaefer of Friendship Village; his children, Mark (Joyce) of Cedar Falls and Shelley Anderson (David) of Anoka, MN; his grandchildren, Jessica Brandt (Josh), Charlotte, Jonah, Lucas and Isabelle Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Abel, Jonathan, Matthew and Lenore Brandt.
