He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Dean; and his brother-in-law Dan Barfels. He is survived by: his mother Charlene Elsie Marson (Matson) of Cedar Falls; his children, Achelle Lynne of Ayden, NC, Alec Marson (Joshua Dalbey) of Cedar Falls, Ariel Marson of Gilbertville and Anthony Marson of Gilbertville; and his sisters, Kathy Barfels of Cedar Falls and Nadine Wilson (Bruce) of Waterloo. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
