She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Ruth Holub (DeMoss) and Eldon Frank Holub Jr.; and her son Dwight Leonard. She is survived by: her child Michele Marion (Paul Zipp) of Kerrville, TX; her husband Allen Fred Bartels; and her son Chad Bartels of Pleasantville, IA. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, and her siblings.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (420 Harwood Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
