She is survived by: her father Darrell Anfinson of Cedar Rapids; her children, Kassandra Pickett (Justin) of Grimes, Joshua Rhodes of Cedar Rapids, Lacey Rhodes of Akron, OH, Trey Anfinson of Rolla, MO, Hannah Robinson (Ramell) of Waterloo, Destiny Michael (Blake) of Readlyn and Trevin Rader of Waterloo; and her siblings, Ricky Anfinson (Colleen) of Newport, NC, Travis Anfinson of Cedar Rapids, Shelley Hines (John) of Center Point and Christine Lietz of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

“Continued from Michelle Starr... We were sternly advised that the kids just got out of school, they were not interested in "playing school with us! Connie and I were such good friends! I often have thought of her through the years... I will continue to treasure the good memories I hold of Connie. Rest in Peace my dear childhood friend! Have the summer school setup when I get there!! P.S. I and every kid loved the mini loaves of bread from her Dad on Halloween!”

“My deepest sympathy!! My name is Michelle Starr. I went to school @Truman Elementary. Connie & used to collect as many mimographed worksheets from the teachers at the end of the year. OH how they smelled so good! As soon as school got out for the summer, we got busy building "our classrooms! We chose a big tree her backyard and enclosed our classrooms with tablecloths. WE WERE SO EXCTED! And we worked so hard on it! Of all those neighborhood kids, not ONE showed up! Our hearts were broken!”
