He is survived by: his wife Sharon Schaffer of Waterloo; his children, Debra Foss of San Clemente, CA, Daniel Schaffer (Jill) of Colorado Springs, CO and Bob Schaffer (Kari) of Waterloo; his daughter-in-law Linda Schaffer of Waterloo; and his sisters, Irene Haase, Beverly Bruns, Gladys Cue, Jeanette Ridgeley and Linda Picken. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
