He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kirchhoff and Lorena Boehm Kirchhoff; his great grandchild Lillian Oglesbee-Kirchhoff; and his siblings, Lucinda Nuss, Frank, Elmer, Hollis, Robert and Merrill Kirchhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Marga W. Hofmann March of Waterloo; his sons, Tommy Kirchhoff of Cedar Falls and Steven Kirchhoff; his grandchildren, Jamie Shimek of Garland, Lisa Wetzel (Nate) of Cedar Falls, Laura Whitehead (Drew) of Waverly and Jay Kirchhoff of Cedar Falls; and his great grandchildren, Clare, Jillian, Brenner Wetzel, Landon, Kendyl Whitehead and Sully Oglesbee-Kirchhoff.
