She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Monroe and Gladys Monroe; her son Dexter; and her brother James Terry. She is survived by: her children, Morgan Greenway (Faiza) of Navarre, Rhonda Greenway of Waverly and Natalie Greenway of Evansdale; her daughter-in-law Vicky Greenway of Waterloo; and her sister Elizabeth Jester of Wichita. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
