She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon J. Bucknell and Zella M. Bucknell (Swanger). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth W. Schwake of Waterloo; her sons, Darren Scott Schwake (Michelle) of Grand Rapids, MN and Dustin Schwake (Debbie) of Oak Grove, MN; and her brother Richard Bucknell (Kathy) of Jesup. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (2211 Maynard Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
