It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte I. Gutknecht (Waterloo, Iowa), who passed away on January 4, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simons and Ula Simons (Foster); her brothers, Garrett Simons and Daniel Simons; her stepchildren, Bill Gutknecht and Cathy Martindale; and her stepson-in-law Virgil Hamilton.
She is survived by: her spouse Jon Gutknecht; her stepchildren, Robert F. Gutknecht (Rhonda) of Reinbeck and Carrie Ann Hamilton of Rogers, Arkansas; and her brothers, Phil Simons (Lynda) of Las Vegas and Mark Simons (Raylene) of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Jan; six step-grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
