With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Barneson of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian "Fred" Barneson and Helen Behlke Barneson; his granddaughter Megan Pedersen; and his sisters, Lorraine Herbenson, Norma Syverson and Audrey Barneson.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Barneson of Waterloo; his daughters, Lisa Pedersen (Mike) of Marion and Cheryl Camarata (Jeff) of Waterloo; his grandsons, Ryan Camarata of Waterloo, Zach Camarata of Waterloo and Kendall Pedersen of Cedar Rapids; his great grandchild Devin Camarata; and his sisters, Janice Smeltzer of Bloomington, MN and Carol McCabe (Hal) of Eau Claire, WI..
