It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol F. Hoeweler of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Rogers and Hazel Rogers (Rogers); her husband Harold Hoeweler; her son Steven Van Deest; and her siblings, Earl, Carl Rogers, Jean Hill and Lola Van Heuvelen.
She is survived by: her former husband Bernard Van Deest; her daughters, Carla Leyen (Kevin) of Reinbeck and Colleen Starnes of Kyle, TX; and her granddaughters, Hannah (Cameron Starnes), Audrey Leyen, Nicole Knapp (Andy) and Rachael Selmeski (Brooke Rice).
