He is survived by: his wife Linda Poock of Waterloo; his sons, Carlos Gomez, Jr. of Kansas City, Jason Gomez (Stephanie) of Waterloo, Nicholas Gomez (David) of Urbandale and Jeremy Gomez (Jennifer) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Jordyn, Jalynn, Jaryn, Jayna, Jacy, Kaden, Carter and Cason Gomez; and his siblings, Victor Gomez (Alicia) of Olathe, Kan and Natalia Bottini (Bruce) of Morgantown.
