She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Gilbert and Barb Stowell Gilbert; and her former husband Dean Beasley. She is survived by: her children, Chris O'Connell (Cassandra) of Waterloo, Eric O'Connell (Trisha) of Waterloo, Joey Beasley (Rachel) of Waterloo, Steven Beasley (Amy) of Waterloo and Angela O'Connell of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Noah, Serissa and Breann O'Connell; and her siblings, Ronnie Gilbert of Braynard, Carol Thurm of Denver and Susan Bergeson of Marshalltown. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
