It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Ratute (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on September 28, 2019, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Siegel and Bessie Nathanson Siegel; her husband Michael Ratute; her daughter Barbara Myers; her grandchildren, Stephanie and Perry; and her sisters, Mary, Frieda, Ann, Esther and Roselyne.
She is survived by: her sons, Arthur Ratute of Waterloo and Paul (Jackie); and her son-in-law Sydney Myers of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
