Swinton of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Dyersville, Iowa, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herting and Anna Weber Herting; her husband Harold Swinton; her stepmother Adele Herting; her daughter Jacelyn "Jackie" Swinton; her siblings, Lawrence, Ray Herting, Dolores Luloff and Jeanette Schmidt; and her half-sisters, Marian Hess and Lois Ecklund.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Swinton (Juliet) of Waterloo and Duane Swinton (Jan) of Spokane, WA; and her half-brother Edward Herting (Joann) of Dubuque. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
