He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Laura Gude Sand; his brother John Joseph; and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Helen, Paris, France, Mary Sand (Von Kaster), Martha Christians (Gary), Rita Maniotis of Berwyn, IL, John Sand (Melinda), Mark Sand (Rose), Beth Giddens (Gary), Paul Sand (Karen), Peter Sand (Diane) and Sara Sand of Cedar Rapids, IA.. He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
