He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vernon Arends (Sandra) and Elizabeth Abbas (George); his siblings-in-law, Ann Bacon (Chuck), Patricia Boland and Edward L. Boland Jr.; and also, Helmer and Leta Arends (Meyer).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Boland; his daughter Tanjlia "Tanjie" Klinker of Waterloo; and his nephews, Marlyn "Skip" Abbas of Waterloo and Jerry Boland (Anita) of Cedar Falls.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (420 Harwood Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (420 Harwood Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
